I'm Marc, the founder of Zynk. If anything is broken, buggy, or needs work, blame me.
I'm thrilled to announce the very first public release of Zynk after years of active, hardcore development. It has taken much longer than we ever thought, but we think it turned out great!
What is Zynk anyway?
It's a complete re-imagining of data transfer. We think people should no longer be shackled by bounds of bygone eras like cables, complicated to setup software, platform chained solutions, pains of resuming broken transfers, and limits oh limits.
What Zynk can do right now

Send any sized file/folder between any of your devices, or anyone else

Collaborate with friends and colleagues easily through messages and reactions

Play and view received media in app, speeding up collaboration on media content

Send messages between your own devices think links or other pieces of text

Flexibility: when receiving transfers, the recipient can select on which device to accept it on

Receive media straight to your TV and play it on a large screen in all its glory. Think vacation photos and family videos you can send to your parents that play right on their TV. Android TV only for now, but we may expand this over time.

Share files and folders over the web with anyone easily, optional password protection + expiry, the other party doesn't need to be a Zynk user

Accept transfers from anyone via drop links, just like sharing files with non-Zynk users

For everyone both simple users (my mom is the best beta tester!) and power users (CLI, scripting, automations...)
This is just the beginning
You might already be starting to think this is going somewhere, and we think it is.
Over the years we've baked in lots of little gems sparkled throughout the app and experience. These are too numerous to list, but once you stumble upon them we think you're going to be delighted.
What's next
In the near future we're going to start introducing functionality that will blow your minds. Capabilities that are unique and unseen in this sphere as far as we're aware.
Hint: Zynk will become a lot more versatile, powerful and flexible than it is right now. We're not stopping here but taking it to new heights.
