Privacy Policy for Zynk
Last updated: March 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Zynk handles personal data when you use our website, apps, file transfer features, messaging features, and support channels. It also explains how optional website analytics work on the marketing site.
1. Scope
This policy applies to:
- •the Zynk marketing website at https://zynk.it
- •Zynk apps and related product flows
- •file transfer, messaging, and account features
- •support, billing, security, and operational communications
If you need additional controller identity details or a mailing address for a formal privacy request, contact [email protected].
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use Zynk, we may collect:
- •account information such as email address, username, phone number, and encrypted credentials
- •profile information you choose to provide
- •support requests, survey responses, and other communications you send us
- •billing or transaction records if you purchase paid services
- •device, browser, operating system, IP address, advertising identifiers (such as IDFA or Google Advertising ID), crash data, and connection diagnostics
- •service metadata such as file names, file sizes, timestamps, routing details, delivery status, and related technical events
- •website analytics information if you opt in to analytics on the marketing site
We do not intentionally access the contents of transferred files or private messages except where temporary technical handling is required to route, relay, reconnect, secure, or deliver the service.
3. Cookies and website analytics
The marketing website uses optional Google Analytics to understand traffic and improve pages.
- •We do not load Google Analytics unless you actively allow analytics through the consent banner or Cookie Settings.
- •If you decline, the marketing site still works.
- •We configure Google Analytics with IP anonymization and keep Google Signals and ad personalization signals disabled.
- •We do not use the marketing-site analytics setup for cross-context behavioral advertising.
If you allow analytics, Google may receive identifiers and usage data such as cookie identifiers, IP address, browser and device information, approximate location, page URLs, referrers, and on-site interaction events.
You can change your choice at any time through Cookie Settings in the footer. You can also clear cookies through your browser controls.
4. Mobile app analytics and attribution
We use third-party attribution services (such as Tenjin) to measure marketing campaign performance and understand how users discover and install our apps.
When you use a Zynk app, these services may collect:
- •advertising identifiers (such as IDFA on iOS or Google Advertising ID on Android)
- •IP address
- •device and operating system information
- •app install and usage events
This data is used to:
- •measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns
- •understand which channels drive app installs
- •improve marketing efforts and user acquisition
We may share this data with attribution partners such as Tenjin for these purposes. Where required by your platform (for example, Apple's App Tracking Transparency), we will request your permission before collecting advertising identifiers.
5. How we use personal data
We use personal data to:
- •provide, operate, and maintain the Zynk service
- •authenticate users and secure accounts
- •facilitate file transfer, messaging, and service reliability
- •respond to support requests and product inquiries
- •process transactions and maintain business records
- •detect abuse, fraud, security incidents, and technical issues
- •improve performance, stability, accessibility, and product quality
- •measure marketing-site usage when you opt in to analytics
- •measure app install attribution and marketing campaign performance
- •comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
6. Legal bases
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on:
- •Contract: to provide the services you request and administer your account
- •Legitimate interests: to secure, troubleshoot, maintain, and improve the service
- •Consent: for optional marketing-site analytics and any other processing that requires consent
- •Legal obligation: to comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, and lawful requests
7. Sharing and disclosure
We may disclose relevant personal data to:
- •hosting, infrastructure, email, payment, support, security, and analytics providers acting on our behalf

Personal data may be processed outside your country of residence. Where applicable, we use recognized transfer mechanisms and safeguards required by law.

We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
As a general guide:

The website does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals. Because the current marketing-site setup does not sell or share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising, we do not provide a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" control for analytics. You can still disable optional analytics at any time through Cookie Settings.
12. Children's privacy
Zynk is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
