This California Privacy Notice supplements the Zynk Privacy Policy and applies only to California residents covered by the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, "CCPA").
1. Categories of personal information we collect
In the last 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information, depending on how you use Zynk:
- •Identifiers: email address, username, account identifiers, IP address, and device identifiers
- •Customer records information: contact details and account profile information you provide
- •Commercial information: subscription, billing, payment, or transaction history when relevant
- •Internet or network activity: browser details, usage logs, session activity, crash data, and interaction with our services
- •Geolocation data: approximate location inferred from IP address or network information
- •Audio, electronic, visual, or similar information: files, screenshots, or other materials you choose to send to support
- •Sensitive personal information: account credentials and limited data needed to secure accounts and provide the service
- •Analytics and cookie data: marketing-site identifiers and usage events if you opt in to optional website analytics
We do not intentionally access the contents of transferred files or private messages except where temporary technical handling is required to route, relay, reconnect, secure, or deliver the service.
2. Sources of personal information
We collect personal information:
- •directly from you when you create an account, contact support, complete forms, or purchase services
- •automatically from your device, browser, app, and network interactions with Zynk
- •from service providers and business partners that help us operate, secure, or support the service
- •from optional analytics technologies on the marketing site if you allow them
3. Purposes for collection, use, and disclosure
We collect, use, retain, and disclose personal information for business or commercial purposes such as:
- •providing and maintaining the Zynk service
- •processing transactions and administering subscriptions
- •authenticating users and protecting accounts
- •facilitating file transfer, messaging, and service functionality
- •debugging, auditing, analytics, quality assurance, and product improvement
- •detecting, preventing, and responding to fraud, abuse, security issues, or unlawful activity
- •complying with legal obligations and enforcing our agreements
If you opt in to optional marketing-site analytics, Google Analytics may receive related identifiers and usage information to help us measure traffic and improve pages.
4. Disclosure of personal information
We may disclose personal information to:
- •hosting, infrastructure, support, payment, analytics, and communications providers that perform services for us
- •professional advisers and contractors acting under confidentiality obligations
- •regulators, law enforcement, and other parties when disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety
- •parties involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or other corporate transaction
5. Sale or sharing of personal information
Zynk does not sell personal information for money. Zynk also does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the CCPA.
The current marketing-site analytics setup is not used for cross-context behavioral advertising, and ad personalization signals are disabled. Because we do not sell or share personal information in that manner, we do not offer a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" mechanism at this time.
6. Sensitive personal information
We use sensitive personal information only for limited purposes permitted by the CCPA, such as providing the service, securing accounts, detecting incidents, preventing fraud, and complying with legal obligations. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about consumers.
7. Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary and proportionate for the purposes described in this notice, including to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
Retention depends on the data category and context. For example, account records may be retained while an account is active, technical logs may be retained for security and troubleshooting, and billing records may be retained to satisfy tax and accounting obligations.
8. California privacy rights
Subject to verification and applicable exceptions, California residents may have the right to:
- •know the categories of personal information we collect, use, disclose, and retain
- •request access to specific pieces of personal information
- •request correction of inaccurate personal information
- •request deletion of personal information
- •receive personal information in a portable format where required
- •limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable

10. Minors
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
